An Exciting NEW Vacancy has just become available from our client a 4* Country Hotel with a Michelin Star restaurant

This demanding role is for a Sous Chef, to work with a small team of Chefs within this busy hotel,

The hotel has a total of 84 rooms and suites comprising 73 rooms and 11 suites

It has separate Spa facilities, 12 function Rooms, 1 bar, 1 Restaurant, 1 Michelin Star/ 4 Rosette Restaurant.

The Michelin accolade is one of many achieved by the restaurant in the last year. The Good Food Guide 2011 rates the restaurants with an impressive 8/10, placing it as one of the top 20restaurant in the country. Additionally, the AA Restaurant Guide 2011 confirmed four prestigious rosettes, for the third year running

Ideally you will have experience working in AA Rosette kitchen at Sous chef level.

You will have experience in managing a brigade of 10 chefs or more

You will have knowledge in Menu planning, (bar Menus, restaurant menus, Wedding, and Function Menus)

We are looking for a chef who cannot just cook but has experience in the administration side of the business, dealing with suppliers, costings staff rotas and holidays

We are looking for Sous Chefs who in addition to cooking for restaurants also have experience in cooking in volume numbers for Conference & Banqueting, Wedding functions

This kitchen is a very busy kitchen due to the popularity of the hotel and restaurant features, the hours will be long but the rewards worth it.

The hotel is going forward in their approach in increasing their quality, service to its clientele through new and exciting functions and events, this hotel is used for Weddings, Corporate functions and as a country get away for couples wanting to use the hotels award winning Restaurant and Spa

This Hotel is looking to increase their accolades further and need a good team member to be part of the team pushing new creations and ideas with the ambition to increase the quality.

This could be an excellent opportunity for you to increase your skills further; it is an excellent opportunity for you to work with some of the top chefs in the country.

You will have references from previous employers showing your progression within your career

Ideally you will have your own transport as this hotel is in a remote location with very limited public transport available

Your Hours will be a minimum 45 hours a week and you will work 5 out of 7 days, there are no split shifts only straight shifts
