• Rotation: 4 months on and 2 months off rotation
• Reporting to: Corporate office and shipboard Hotel Manager as required
• Salary: Circa $6680US / €5560 Euro / £4930UK / $8500AUD…per month worked
• Bonus: Sorry no bonus
• Rank: The role is equivalent to an F&B Director on board
• Berthing: Single

The AWESOME Role Overview: The role focuses on concept development, standards of service and a lot of training! This role is involved in: Strategic planning, Customer Relations, Team development and leadership, Cost control and Product Delivery too:

• To provide and execute the professional technical expertise and support for the brand and product in developing standards of service, SOPs, sequence of service and venue concepts as well as the strengthening and fine tuning of existing concept and training manuals.
• To explore and assess latest local and international restaurant trends.
• To develop and work with the Director, Guest Experience, F&B Operations, on relevant, service standards, menu knowledge and consistency of standards.
• To work with the Director, Guest Experience, F&B Operations, on restaurant projects, menus, product development and implementations.

Your role will be providing operational hands-on support and expertise in a unique local brand environment as directed by the Director, Guest Experience, F&B Operations Operations. Be capable of supporting a cluster of ships in key aspects of the Restaurant Operations through service standards, sequence of service and presentation and establish a strong working relationship with the on board Restaurant Management, acting as their first point of contact for operational needs. Execute service quality assurance and assist in service and revenue analysis. Whilst traveling and during ship visit, conduct operational reviews as well as provide training to the on board teams and managers. The position will be an integral role in developing, implementing and maintaining new concepts in terms of menus concept standards and be the conduit to collect feedback from the ships and relay to / from the Corporate team, achieving the task of delivering the best possible restaurant experience at sea, in line with the Company’s values and brand strategy. The position requires extensive shipboard travel across the fleet.

YOU the BRILLIANT Candidate

• You will preferably have already been in a corporate travelling role within the F&B department already – Travelling F&B Manager / Travelling Restaurant Manager or similar
• You will definitely be currently working on a large cruise ship in the role of F&B Director or Senior Dining Room Manager or even a Hotel Director / Manager where your responsibility is to oversee and manage more than one restaurant outlet.
• You will be a LEADER and NOT a Manager whom is able to inspire your team with positive motivation.
• You will be happy to travel and jump from ship to ship as and when the business dynamics demand.
• Your flair and skills will be able to jump-into the operation to cover roles in the F&B function as required.
• You will have 100% understanding of USPH
• You will have a clean track record from previous cruise line companies with positive evaluations to evidence with your application.
• Please state if you are currently shipboard or shoreside and if shipboard, the date you are scheduled to go on vacation. Thanks very much.
