Role: Revenue and Reservations Manager
Location: An EXTRAORDINARY 6* Private Island Retreat in the Maldives

Start date: Soon!
Salary: Circa $4100US ($3000US base salary plus service charge of $1100US per month) and taxed at 3% local island tax
Bonus:Annual bonus up to 20%.
Working: 48 hours / 6 days a week (so one day off a week)
Reporting to: The General Manager on site plus The Corporate Director of Sales and Marketing
Your team: A team of 3 reporting to you
Accommodation: Single accommodation on the island
Contract: Fixed term contract (one year initially) will be renewed after one year subject performance
Benefits: Joining ticket and annual ticket to home and R&R (Rest & Relaxations) leave USD 600 twice a year. Company covers money transfer charges.
Holiday: Annual leave 30 days, Public Holiday 11 days (Calendar year), 30 days sick leave per year, R&R 6 x 2 times per year.
Required: Company provides work permit (it’s also subject of mandatory work permit medical from Govt Hospital) inclusive of Blood test, X-ray and Doctor consultations.
Multi Media: YES! It’s on the island and very good too.

The AWESOME Role Overview
Implementing revenue management strategies and processes, in order to optimize and maximize its revenue. Ensuring the smooth and efficient operations in the Reservations department through prompt, effective and proper reservations service to achieve maximum room revenue in order to meet or exceed the revenue target.

3 - 4 years of hands-on Hotel Revenue / Reservations Management experience from a 5* property including:
oMandarin Oriental ¡ Peninsula ¡ Four Seasons ¡ St Regis ¡ Raffles ¡One & Only ¡ Aman
oRosewood ¡ Six Senses ¡ Park Hyatt ¡ Ritz Carlton ¡ Jumeirah (Dubai) ¡ Oberoi/Taj/Leela (India)
…Or a private island including:
oNorth Island, Seychelles ¡Fregate, Seychelles ¡Brando, French Polynesia ¡Necker, BVA ¡Amanpulo Philippines ¡Nihiwatu indonesia
An INCREDIBLEleader and proven experience of managing a team.
A strong command of both written and spoken English is required; additional languages an asset.
Highly computer literate with a high level command of Excel.
Knowledgeable of hotel technology: PMS Opera, Vision, GDS, CRS, OTA Extranets etc.
Strong sense of need for achievement of goals and success.
Sound ability and knowledge to develop standards of operations and strategic processes.
Good analytical and numeric skills for fast data crunching.
Ability to work under own initiative in a highly pressured environment.
Great listening skills and the ability to anticipate business needs.
Capacity to read situation, understand environments and respond accordingly.
Well-developed interpersonal, adaptive influencing and supervisory management skills.
Mentality of client service and taking responsibility beyond direct duties.
