Required: Holding valid US C1/D visa; Seamans book, STCW Certificates, Medical including documented Yellow Fever inoculation jab.

The SUPERB Role Overview
To generate future cruise sales revenue by promoting future cruise opportunities to guests on board and processing the bookings that are generated from on board future cruise sales promotion. To represent the Company Club on board providing a point of contact for guests with regard to any matters.
Provide a high level of future cruise knowledge combined with a warm, friendly & approachable customer service attitude to all guests on board.
To proactively promote the future cruise sales service, the benefits of booking on board and future products & services to on board guests to generate the highest possible booking revenue from each and every cruise.
To ensure the future cruise sales service is available every day of the cruise, and to ensure that opening hours are tailored to the itinerary & guest demand.
Promote opening hours each day via the Daily Times.
To ensure a welcome letter is placed in each cabin at the start of the cruise promoting the services of the Future Cruise Sales Manager to all guests.
To ensure stocks of promotional flyers and up to date brochures are clearly displayed to guests and to ensure a proactive approach is taken to stock control of promotional literature so that on board stocks are maintained.
To target New Guests and guests with no future booking with a personalised cabin letter.
To promote the future cruise sales service via on board TV.
To ensure the future cruise sales TV screens are used to promote future cruise destinations via suitable content provided by the Marketing Department.
Where applicable, promote on board cabin upgrades and extension offers as directly by the Yield Department.
To ensure you adopt a high profile and pro-active sales approach towards guests at every opportunity around the vessel.
To prepare, arrange & deliver a future cruise presentation on board every cruise where the on board programme allows.
To prepare, arrange & host an informal cocktail party event for suite guests on board where the on board programme allows to encourage high revenue guests to make a future suite booking on board.
To prepare, arrange & host a sales event exclusively for New Guests on board to encourage guests to make a future booking on board.
To prepare, arrange and deliver launch events on board when new brochures and sales campaigns are available.
To be creative in using calendar events as sales events on board (i.e. Valentines, Mothers Day, etc.)
To be the Newcomer programme representative on board, providing a point of contact for newcomers, to host a newcomer welcome event and guided ship tour.
To be fully proficient in the use of company reservations systems and to ensure all bookings are made with the highest level of accuracy and attention to detail.
To ensure that the correct booking process is adhered to for each booking as directed by SQM procedures, Training & Development Manager & Reservations Services Manager.
To ensure that each booking is transferred back to its original booking source as per company guidelines.
To provide quotes to guests on a request basis using the quote system within the company reservations system.
To book cabin upgrades and cruise extensions as required.
To operate an appointment system effectively as required to ensure you maximise on sales opportunities.
To ensure all bookings are clearly & accurately reported to the relevant on board departments and the Reservations Services Department on a daily basis via the Daily Reservations Services Action Sheet.
To complete & distribute a future cruise sales/Oceans report to company management at the end of each cruise.
To actively use the Guest Profile report and Future Cruise Sales manifest issued by Sales Systems to target promotional activity on board.
To achieve and exceed revenue sales target on each cruise.
To achieve and exceed New Guests conversion target on each cruise.
To achieve a minimum KPI score of 85% from guests each cruise.
To assist the Trade Support Department with hosting travel agent, reseller and press ship visits at UK and overseas ports.
To assist with travel agent educational trips as required.
To assist the on board tours department with escorting shore tours as required.
To be responsible for the safe keeping of the company future cruise sales I-pad & mobile phone whilst on board.
To act as a point of contact for all guests on board in regard to Company cruise club related matters.
To prepare, arrange & host the cocktail party & awards event.
Carry out personal welcome visit to all Returners members on board.
To arrange exclusive on board events as directed by the Company cruise club secretary.
